Home Depot is the name that holds the rights to the Charmglow
Grills brand. Since the 1960's, it has been known to be the brand of
barbecue grills that lasts. Right now many owners still have their
grills working, as advertised. Brinkmann and Nexgrill Corporations are
the companies that manufacture the Charmglow Grills.
Last 2004, Home Depot acquired Charmglow Grills and started to transfer the assembly line to China. That plan backfired as customers started to notice the defects in the grills and it started to lose its market. Charmglow Grills then began to lose its well earned reputation. As customer confidence dropped, many major stores and shops stopped selling the grills, including the much needed accessories and replacement parts. Some Home Depot branches still hold some parts in stock though.
To be frank, there are things that this review wishes to reveal. There are reported complaints that include unevern burners, defective ignition and easily rusted frame and body.
It has come to our attention that there are reports that the remaining active Charmglow Grill model is the Charmglow 5-Burner. It has a stainless steel body. Nexgrill manufactured some grills with 4 burners. Many will notice that compared with other major brands, it is fully featured. The Charmglow 5-Burner has a large cooking area but you can easily notice the poor construction. Not many will complain as with the low price, this is already a good buy.
For the best reasons, Charmglow Grills have been an excellent product before. The following are the added features which made this product gain a strong reputation for quality: porcelain-coated cast iron cooking grates, a one-touch electronic igniter and a built-in oven light and window.
